I currently work at Google. Previously I worked at Kaiser Permanente where I designed everything from web apps to giant digital displays. In my free time you can catch me drinking coffee or watching Scrubs on Netflix.

Google (2016 - Current): interaction designer

A multinational technology company with a mission to organize the world's information.

  • Help to define the user model and user interface for new and existing Google products and features.
  • Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Gauge the usability of new and existing products and making constructive suggestions for change.

KAISER PERMANENTE (2014 - 2016): UX/UI Designer

The nation's largest nonprofit health plan with a strong emphasis on preventive care.

  • Responsible for forming user journeys, site architecture, detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes and strategic recommendations. Develop products across a variety of platforms including mobile, desktop, and large digital displays. Work and collaborate closely with product stakeholders and engineering. 

Major Projects:

  • Re-imagining Lab Results

    • Developed a system of displaying lab results that makes it easier for patients to interpret. Focused on creating ways to present personal actionable items according to specific patient needs. Worked closely with a physician and senior user experience designer to create a working prototype to present as part of a proposal for funding.

  • CLP (Consolidated List of Projects)
    • Functioned as the lead UX/UI and visual designer to create an interface for an online tool that consolidates, filters, and displays project information. 

KAISER PERMANENTE (2014): it intern

The nation's largest nonprofit health plan with a strong emphasis on preventive care.

  • Collaborated as part of a cross-functional team that spanned Northern and Southern California to develop a new marketing strategy to present to the CIO. 

poketo (2012): design intern

A lifestyle brand and purveyor of design-driven wares meant to instill art into everyday living.

  • Responsible for photographing products and events for an internationally recognized artist brand. Worked closely with the Creative Director / Co-Founder to assist in design work. Was given autonomy in designing products to be included in their product line.

huntington hospital (2013): surgical unit volunteer

  • Delivered blood and specimen to labs, picked up and delivered charts, discharged patients, and other tasks to support Huntington, its staff and patients.
